Daily I see the enemy mentally dividing us
Sectioning us off by the color of our skins
Some stereotypical depictions of who I am
Cuz I like watermelon hot sauce and chicken
That’s true
You see the white man calls me black
because of the way that I look
The black man calls me white
Because of the proper context of my speech
A level he never chose to reach
And the red man said, “to each his own”,
And lost his wife , kids , and that tepee called home
The world is in mass confusion B
(Black man B)
No doubt!
From grade school on
I’m filling out questionnaire tests
Of what sex, nationality, or ethnic background my flesh represents
Dividing us where the only thing we have in common
Is the fact that we lack common sense
If we don’t pick up on the evidence that racism
Is still quite prevalent
