Hair Braiding started in Africa, that is both a style and art form. In many tribes, braided hairstyles are unique and an identifier of the tribes. The hair is tightly braided very close to the scalp, using underhand, upward motion , adding extension gives the look extra length. Wearing braids are forms of protective styling, that protect natural hair from heat damage and humidity. You can achieve various style: Cornrow, box braids, Passion twists, goddess, etc.

INTERLOCKS | MICROLOCS

Interlocking locs is a maintenance method that involves pulling the end of the loc back through the base of the root. The (4) point interlocking process includes threading locs though the new growth root in (4) points of the directions of East North, South and West that tightens the new growth to the scalp. Individuals with all hair types (coarse to fine textures) will benefit from Interlocking. Microlocs are small locs that are done without formal training. While sisterlocks have defined grid patterns and interlocking techniques, microlocs do not have these set rules. They mostly look like really tiny braids or defined curls. Microlocs used several methods, from interlocking, two-strand twists, and braiding.
